Club Denim group, one of Ireland's most innovative independent retailers, has signed up to lease the ground and first floor units of the much-anticipated Newtownsmith Development. ![]() Rishi Malde-Club Denim, Gina Malde-Club Denim, John Curley-Curley Holdings, Pamela Finn-Think PR In what promises to be the most exciting retail location in Galway City, Club Denim group, which is responsible for the success behind the Diesel Ireland retail expansion, will offer an exclusive environment consisting of strong fashion brand names combined with an eclectic mix dedicated to new and emerging designers. The new store will be unique in its layout and will offer a much-needed shopping alternative to students and young professionals in Galway. Aimed primarily at the 18 to 35 age group the store will offer a diverse range of clothing and lifestyle products which will cater for any occasion be it formal or casual complemented by accessories including designer sunglasses and handbags. John Curley of Curley Holdings commented: "We are delighted to be able to announce the arrival of the Club Denim group to the Newtownsmith development and can confirm that all retail and office space in the centre is now occupied." The development will aspire to exceed the expectations of shoppers by delivering new levels of service and is set to become a major social shopping space. Club Denim will be enlisting the help of the Galway-based Architectural Spaces, interior and spatial design consultants, to coordinate the interior layout and concept of the centre. This design promises to include gaming areas outside fitting rooms, alteration station, space to showcase art from local artists and a glass atrium housing restaurants and select dining which extends to a large outdoor seating area decorated with the beautiful backdrop of Galway's River Corrib and Cathedral. Gina Malde, Director of Club Denim remarked, "We want to bring the fun back into shopping and this wonderful opportunity will give us a platform to deliver a new shopping experience to our customers. We are delighted to have finally found our ideal building and location from Curley Holdings and look forward to greeting the people of Galway in early spring." The Club Denim Group expects to open on 1 March 2009 in conjunction with the arrival of the new Spring/Summer collections. |
