Name: Derek Treacy
Appointment: Branch Manager, Halifax Eyre Square

Halifax has announced the appointment of Derek Treacy to the position of branch manager of its Eyre Square branch. Derek will have responsibility for expanding the bank's customer base in the county and providing a dedicated, local approach. He will head up selling Halifax's wide range of products including current accounts, mortgages, personal loans, credit cards and savings products.

Derek, originally from Ballinasloe, but now living in Kilconnell, takes over from Hayden Simpson. Derek joins Halifax from HSBC, where he was relationship manager for the Flagship Premier Centre in Kensington, London. He has a wealth of financial services experience having worked in the industry for over seven years.
