The Harbour Hotel Galway has announced Sobin Mathew to the position of General Manager.

Sobin is a graduate of Hotel Management School in Lenzerheide, Switzerland and was the only student from this school to be hand picked by Hilton Hotel Al Ain, United Arab Emirates for the management trainee programme. Sobin started his career as Banqueting Coordinator, catering for up to 5000 guests. Later, he moved to the Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts in Jumeira Beach, Dubai and later transferred to The Radisson SAS Hannover, Germany for the EXPO 2000. Sobin moved to the Galway Radisson SAS in 2001 and also participated in opening the Radisson SAS Athlone, The Park Inn, Dundalk and the Radisson SAS, Birmingham.

Now with 12 years experience in the hospitality industry, and a dedication to establishing the image of the Harbour Hotel as a luxury four-star establishment, Sobin is looking forward to leading the Harbour Hotel into success in the competitive Galway market.
