Galway-based aviation company Aer Arann has welcomed the decision by An Bord Pleanála to grant planning permission for the construction of Terminal Two at Dublin Airport.
Aer Arann, which operates 26 flights a day out of Dublin Airport, said the new terminal would offer a greater opportunity for growth and improved connection times. Speaking to the Galway Independent, Aer Arann Managing Director Gerry Cullen said, “When the new terminal is built, Aer Arann will be able to offer our customers a higher quality product. Terminal Two will contribute greatly towards a stress-free flying experience.” “This long-awaited new addition to Dublin Airport is essential to meeting the needs of fast-growing airlines such as ourselves. As the third largest operator into Dublin, Aer Arann is committed to accommodating the needs of our growing customer base and believes the new terminal will provide a great facility for passengers visiting or transiting through Dublin,” he added. |
