EBS offices across Galway are calling on customers to 'Make a Difference' by nominating local initiatives worthy of receiving grants through the EBS Community Fund. The EBS Community Fund is a very simple process. An EBS member can select a cause they feel benefits their local community, fill out a nomination form (available online or through EBS offices) and hand it in to their local EBS office. A group made up of EBS members and staff will then meet to decide who should receive donations. Once the causes have been chosen, all EBS members who nominate a cause will be notified of the successful causes and these causes will be awarded donations from the EBS Community Fund. "EBS Building Society wants to support the communities in which we live and work. So we are providing grants to projects that benefit causes in the local area through the new EBS Community Fund. "We want the community fund to help important projects continue the great work that they do and, in doing so, make a difference to our local communities. "To do this effectively, we need your assistance and we need you to call into your local office today and nominate your local cause," said Aidan Power, Head of Marketing at EBS. Entries need to be submitted by Friday, 10 October. |
