A Business and Professional Women club has been opened in Tuam.
The club and the 2013 programme of events were officially launched recently in the Corralea Court Hotel by the club’s incoming president Caroline Downey.
The event was addressed by Carmen Taheny, National President BPW Ireland, Moyra McMahon, Vice President BPW Galway, Audrey Kinahan, BPW Member, Galway, with the outgoing Galway President Michelle Murphy acting as MC for the event.
The ethos of BPW is to ‘share, educate and give a voice’ and the Tuam Club is now the fifth BPW Club in Ireland.
