Factory is hosting two ‘Fringe Weekenders’ featuring some of the finest acts currently operating on the fringes of electronica as part of this year’s Galway Fringe Festival, which runs until Wednesday 31 July.
This Friday, 19 July, Cult will host Alexander Nut, Eglo Records impresario and Rinse FM DJ. Nut’s sets can veer from hip-hop to garage, house to grime, or disco to techno, via soul and fusion, so this is one not to be missed.
On Saturday, 20 July, Galway’s finest purveyors of beat, Bap to the Future, welcome EXIT Records boss dBridge, who will hopefully continue the fine form shown on his Resident Advisor podcast. He will be supported by Welfare of Basswax, who will play a special dub techno set.
Doors open at 11pm on both nights, and admission is €5 before midnight and €8 thereafter.
