Irish football national draw
A new initiative to help clubs with fundraising has been launched called the ‘Irish Football National Draw’.
Clubs can purchase tickets for between €1 – €2 (depending on the amount) by printing a Ticket Order Form from the FAI website. Clubs get a ready made fundraising vehicle with little or no financial risk to themselves. The draw will take place in November in the Aviva Stadium at the Ford FAI Cup Final.
Many prizes are regional prizes while others are national prizes. Included in the extensive list of prizes are Ford cars, a Champions League Final trip, 24-seater box in the Aviva Stadium, with €1,000 to spend on hospitality, a trip for two to an away senior international match, travelling on the team plane and staying at the team hotel. It is expected that the draw will raise more than €500,000 for clubs and leagues in year one. With the support of clubs and leagues the Irish Football National Draw can become an annual event that helps raise valuable funds for local football throughout Ireland.
